The Humber Bridge 10K road race is organised by the City of Hull Athletic Club and is a mixture of road and trail paths, running both under and over the iconic Humber Bridge. This is a small event and is suitable for novices and new runners who want to try a race for the first time.

Race start time: 9:30am

The route starts from Hessle Rugby Club on the North bank of the Humber Estuary, and proceeds along Redcliff Road before turning onto Cliff Top Lane, before looping round the outskirts of the Humber Bridge Country Park and heading onto the Humber Bridge on the East pathway. After reaching the far end at Barton, runners will turn around and head back along the East pathway of the Humber Bridge and retracing the route along Cliff Top Road back to finish at the rugby club. The route is using the East pathway only this year to allow members of the public to have undisturbed use of the West pathway; the East pathway will be for runners only for the duration of the race.

Water. There will be a water station at the halfway point, which is the turnaround point on the South bank.

Refreshments will be available at the end of the race which finishes in the ground of Hessle Rugby Club.
